A work signed MPOIRIER is not just a painting.
It’s energy. A vibrant echo between your emotions and my colors.
An invitation to slow down, to feel, to marvel.

Each brushstroke is a trace of hope, a breath of light—my own way of saying:
“You deserve beauty. Every single day.”

This creation is a fragment of soul.
Mine, offered to yours.

It might not change the world…
But it could transform your space, your day, your perspective.
What if it was the beginning of a collection that truly reflects you?

Imagine it in your home. Feel it.
An MPOIRIER is more than an acquisition—it’s a true encounter.

” Mon pays, c’est l’hiver I “ is currently available at Galerie mp tresart, and of course, here.

To choose an MPOIRIER is to embrace originality.

With the collection Mon pays c’est l’hiver (My Country Is Winter), multidisciplinary artist MPOIRIER invites us into a sensory immersion at the heart of winter—this emblematic season that shapes both our landscapes and our collective imagination.

Conceived as a poetic tribute to our nordicity, the collection explores winter not only as a climate, but as an intimate territory, a shared memory, and a cultural identity. The works unfold through a luminous and muted palette, where whites, contrasts, and textures evoke silence, vastness, and the paradoxical softness of cold.

Throughout this series, MPOIRIER also incorporates Québécois expressions, delicately inscribed within the works. These familiar words and turns of phrase act as cultural anchors—warm nods that reconnect the viewer to their roots and lived experience. They infuse the winter landscape with voice, orality, and humanity, reminding us that our language is an integral part of our territory.

The title of the collection is also a deliberate homage to Gilles Vigneault and his iconic song Mon pays. As in the poet’s work, winter becomes a powerful metaphor here—that of an inner country, shaped by light, resilience, raw beauty, and the poetry of everyday life.

Each work in Mon pays c’est l’hiver creates a dialogue between light and silence, between material and words, where winter is revealed not as a trial, but as a place of belonging—a subtle nod to our Québec.
