To choose an MPOIRIER is to embrace originality.
The composition, abstract and organic, evokes layers of experience. The layers of material, sometimes erased or covered over, bear witness to a past that is ever present, to buried stories still seeking expression.
The colors—perhaps warm tones mixed with more muted hues—convey this blend of hope and resignation, light and struggle. The work inspired by the song “Et encore” by Charles Aznavour, and this is felt in its melancholic undertones.
